War is not a quiet business, but the Silenced Men add an unnatural stillness to the battlefield. Even in death, they make no sound. Even disciplined troops find such men unnerving. Though wearing only light armor, their honed greataxes can sunder heavy plate with ease.

Though moderately armored, the Riders are well trained in the use of their cavalry lances. During a charge, they use them to devastating effect, skewering enemy troopers left and right, the enemy’s own armor seemingly useless against such a powerful attack.

While one might question Stormcrow loyalty to their leaders, their employers, and even themselves, one can always count on their absolute devotion to coin. Once properly motivated, Stormcrow Mercenaries are capable medium infantry, adept at holding a flank or performing flanking maneuvers themselves. Their professionalism guarantees a good working relationship with whomever their employer might be, but only for so long as the coin lasts.

The one thing that can be said about the ‘neutral’ parties in the War of the Five Kings is that they always remain true to themselves. Whether battling for coin, self-interest, simple survival, or devotion to their nation, the Neutrals lend a wild card factor to any force. From veterans of the Wall that stand in line-of-battle like Donal Noye and Othell Yarwyck to skilled combatants commanding a larger force like Qhorin Halfhand and Alliser Thorne, these men have stood the test of battle and come out determined and dangerous. Even relatively new recruits like Grenn and Pypar quickly adapt to the rigors of heavy combat. At the Wall, life is hard and the challenges many. One either adapts or dies.

In the Wilds beyond the Wall, Ranger Hunters reign supreme as deadly ambushers. While true stealth and ambushes are difficult to come by in an open battle, Hunters can strike suddenly, exploiting any weakness, often destroying entire units to a man. Hunters often work best in conjunction with their mounted counterparts, the Ranger Trackers. The two teams working in tandem can effectively obliterate all but the most hardened units. However, as light skirmishers, Hunters should never remain in an extended melee with heavy infantry, nor left vulnerable to a cavalry charge.

They have trained relentlessly as trappers, rangers and hunters, and now they hail steel-tipped death on the enemies of House Stark. Includes a squad of miniatures for long-range combat as well as their unit cards and movement tray.

Some men just relish confrontation. These Umber Berserkers are melee specialists for the Stark army and they get stronger as they take more damage!
