Allowing a line of Ravagers to charge an enemy from the flank or rear is to invite a swift and terrible death. They’re fast, efficient, and resilient. Equipped with the finest plate armor, the Casterly Rock Honor Guard’s high defensive capabilities allow them to hold the line while exploiting opponents’ vulnerabilities and instilling them with panic. When facing the Honor Guard, opponents with Condition tokens should think twice, lest they wish to suffer the full might of the Honor Guard’s ‘Lannister Oppression’ ability!This unit includes a Sentinel Enforcer attachment. When attached to the unit, it provides players the Order Ability, ‘Taunt’ to coerce opponents into attacking the Honor Guard.

House Stark has many loyal bannerman. One of the most faithful is House Karstark of Karhold. Originally founded as a small branch of the major House, whenever House Stark calls for aid, House Karstark is among the first to send troops. The most common Loyalist troops from the House are kitted out with flails and shields. But their main weapon is a steadfast belief in their cause, letting them fight on even when taking wounds that would put a regular man down. This pride in knowing what they do is right is further bolstered when the troops gain an advantage in numbers of their enemy. If goaded into a fury by a Loyalist Captain, their zeal grows, making them fight even more reliably and shaking their opponents to the core.

The Kraken banner means trouble anywhere it’s seen along the Stony Shore, largely thanks to the Pillagers that swarm over villages and settlements along its length. These men move quickly, seize everything not nailed down, and kill or rout anyone that gets in their way. Once they gain momentum, they’re difficult to take down, but care must be taken to shield them from direct assaults, especially against heavily armed troops. That said, give them a flank to chew on, and the Stony Shore Pillagers won’t stop until they’ve devoured the entire enemy line.

The Golden Company, Westeros’ most reliable mercenary company, offers several types of troops for hire, depending on the needs of the force they’re being procured for. One of the most popular choices is their Crossbowmen. These sharp-eyed fighters never waste a shot, resolutely waiting until enemies have closed to within perfect range before unleashing their bolts (wasting shots is wasting money, after all). Their well-built, strong crossbows fire bolts that easily punch through enemy armor, especially at closer ranges. And like all Golden Company warriors, they will stay in the battle until the job’s done, almost never prematurely quitting the field. Anyone looking to bolster their forces’ ranged capabilities can get a bargain by hiring them on.

Soldiers train for just about any contingent out on the battlefield. However, few have any real strategy for when they see a massive war elephant bearing down on their battle line. With the Golden Company’s deep resources, they can field these massive beasts, selling their services to anyone willing to pay their price. War Elephants are trained to get quickly into close combat and use their massive feet, giant tusks, and powerful trunks to stomp, smash, and destroy all in front of them. However, they are still simply beasts, and not having a trained Golden Company handler nearby may cause the Elephant to lose control. Still, their inclusion in a force can quickly tip the balance.
