Phantom Fury: Second Edition
This solitaire game simulates, at tactical scale, the combat waged by US forces during the month of November 2004 to secure the city of Fallujah and crush insurgent resistance. The game particularly focuses on the fighting of the 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division in the Jolan District in the north-west part of the city in the morning of November 9th.The player controls USMC troops while the system handles the insurgents. This design is based mainly on the article “”Infantry Squad Tactics: Some of the lessons learned during MOUT (military operations in urbanized terrain) in the battle for Fallujah””, published in the September 2005 issue of the Marine Corps Gazette.
Port Arthur
The Russo-Japanese war that took place on land and at sea at the start of the 20th century began with the Japanese invasion of Korea and their victory at the Battle of Mukden. However it was at sea that the Japanese were to deal the final blow, at the Battle of Tsushima in May 1905 in which the Russian Baltic Fleet was sent to the ocean floor. Take the Japanese side with their central position and their small but powerful fleet, or play the Russians who have to prevent enemy landings while awaiting the arrival of the Baltic Fleet. In 6 turns can you succeed in controlling more zones than your opponent and win the war?
Stalingrad Roads
A wargame for 2 players covering the 1942-43 winter campaign on the Soviet South Front. The game begins with the outbreak of the Uranus offensive in late November 1942 and ends with Manstein’s counter-attack in March 1943. The game is aligned with the ‘Roads’ series, which features the titles Liberty Roads and Victory Roads (published by Hexasim). The system will be familiar to players who have enjoyed the first two games, but it has been adapted to take into account all the specifics of the campaign.
Italia 1917-1918: A Farewell To Arms
An operational wargame which transposes the game system used in “Somme 1918- Bloody Spring” (Nuts! Publishing) and “Marne 1918- Friedensturm” (Hexasim) on to the Italian front, to simulate the fierce fighting which pitted the troops of the Entente (Italy, France, Great- Britain and USA) against those of the Central Powers (Austria-Hungary and Germany) during the period between the Battle of Caporetto (Oct 1917) and the Villa Giusti Armistice (Nov 1918).
